ABSTRACT: The study investigated the impact of early childhood education on immunization rates among young children. The objectives were to assess the immunization status of children attending early education programs, identify effective educational practices that promote immunization, and evaluate the long-term benefits of early immunization education. A survey design was chosen for its efficiency in gathering comprehensive data from a broad population. Purposive sampling was used to select 200 children from preschools in Cross River State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that children who received immunization education had higher immunization rates, characterized by up-to-date vaccination records and better understanding of immunization benefits. Activities such as immunization awareness campaigns, parent education sessions, and collaboration with healthcare providers were particularly effective. The study recommended integrating immunization education into early childhood curricula to promote higher immunization rates and protect children's health from an early age.
